I moved and low carb menu

All moved into the new apartment! It took one jam-packed u-haul, one brother, one girlfriend, a friend of the family, two extra vehicles and lots of willing spirits for the move to take place, but now that I'm here, I feel like I'm right where I'm supposed to be, which is a great feeling.

It's actually a sweet space with a deck with a privacy fence which is perfect for the huge container garden I have growing, an eat-in dining room, a huge living room with vaulted ceilings, a full basement with a washer and dryer included, plus I got to bring Daisy (the English Settter) and my sweetie Angie got to bring Marvie (the pug). Plus, it's on the first floor and everything is on one level, except for the washer and dryer. It just seems super-big for an apartment. It's right off the highway, but also right near the water preserve, which makes it just so nice and green around here, while still being moments away from city-life.

I've been on plan with low carb.... which has kept me sane. Angie is also gotten through Atkins Induction (the first 14 days of Atkins) and she has lost over ten pounds so far just on low-carb! She has lost over 50 pounds now total, which makes her a weight loss buddy that is "in this" on top of being my wonderful girlfriend. I think she is making meatloaf today and that sounds very good actually. Everything tastes better when somebody else is cooking for you!

Angie is actually at an interview now (her second one in two days) and she has more lined up for this week, too. The guy from the carpet place yesterday wants her to come in for a few days to see if she is a good fit with the team.

Eating low carb is not always the easiest way to eat, but in my opinion, the benefits of this lifestyle far outweigh the pain-in-the-ass factor.

Yesterday's Menu
- Half a burger with hot pepper jack cheese on an oopsie roll with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and low carb ketchup
- Bunless cheese burger with lettuce, tomato slices and onion with low carb ketchup
- Two scrambled eggs with hot pepper jack cheese
