Day 4 Low Carb Menu

May 7th, 2010 Menu

- Double chocolate coconut protein shake
- Low carb pancakes with maple syrup and two sausage patties
- Three Atkins bars
- Smoked turkey and cheese on an oopsie with mayo
- Big, fat cheese burger with tomato and onion on an oopsie roll

Do yourself a favor and never eat more than one Atkins bar at a time... Gross!!!

I got on the scale today.... 276.4... Another pound down! I have decided to nix the scale until like next week... but last time I did that, I gained like several pounds so I am almost afraid to get rid of the scale... though I know I need to..... What about you guys? Do you weigh daily or weekly or what?

  1. I'm conflicted about weighing. I know I shouldn't weigh every day, because I fluctuate so wildly from day to day, and I get so depressed if I show a gain. Everybody tells me I should weigh weekly or even monthly. But I can't resist the scales! They have the power! I have to jump on them every morning. Besides, like you, I hate to think that weight is creeping up without my knowing it. So I'm no help to you!

  3. Judith... Yeah, I think I will keep it up with daily weigh-ins..... They just kind of keep me feeling sane... even if not always motivated... For me, it's almost an anxiety thing....

  4. I weigh every day, on my wii. If I had a regular scale, I'd probably weigh multiple times a day. If I don't, I'm with you, I don't feel responsible for the food choices I have made and tend to gain. It also helps me monitor how long after eating certain foods affect me and which ones are affecting me more.

  5. Wow, I never knew that the wii had a scale... that is too cool!!! Is it part of the wii fit or what?

Yeah, I like to think of my body as a little factory... Okay, not so little... but it's kind of fun to see how bad-for-you foods can sometimes take a couple days to show up on the scale... well, for me, at least..
